Debit Card Instructions for Use

The California Institute Of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) is pleased to provide you additional information on how, and where, you can use your approved CIRM support debit card during your drug trial.

Eligible Patients/Caregivers may be allocated funds daily to assist in transportation and nutrition (i.e., meals), which will be loaded daily on a debit card beginning on the first day of your scheduled travel and ending on the last day of scheduled travel. It is important to note the daily allotment amount does not carry over from one day to the next if the full allotment is not utilized, and the amount resets each day.

Your debit card is restricted to merchants associated with meal/grocery purchasing such as grocery stores or meal delivery services (i.e., Door Dash or Grub Hub) or transportation related expenses.
